This position supports the prime contacts for customer sites. The Sales Support role is responsible for quoting material, order entry, and communicating product delivery as well as assisting in the process from the quote to the delivery and handling any issues along way including damages, returns, and warranty.

Responsibilities:

• Establishes, develops, and maintains excellent working relationships with customer site employees
• Perform/Support the inside sales function in an efficient manner by providing customers with pricing quotations and product information. Performs project "take offs" when required and secures and processes order entry information
• Assists in training of peers on areas of expertise
• Provides accurate, timely information to management regarding customer needs
• Effectively markets and sells all products supplied by vendors. Maintains gross margin levels established by management
• Address all customer complaints and/or inquiries promptly, assures equitable resolution to maximize customer satisfaction
• Projects a positive, professional image of the company in all communications with customers, vendors, and suppliers
• Performs other related duties as dictated by business necessity or assigned by management
• Knowledge in Electrical, Plumbing, and/or HVAC preferred.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required
• College degree preferred but not required
• Strong verbal and written communication skill required
• Computer literate, proficient in Microsoft Office

Working Conditions:

• Must be able to sit at a desk for the majority of a work day
• Lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Climate controlled environment
• Moderate travel to customer sites (may not be climate controlled)
• Business casual dress

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
